This section will assist you programming your Motorola callboxes.
Walmart approved callboxes ordered from the GNFR are
engineered to work only with the walkies available on the GNFR.
We cannot guarantee a Motorola callbox will work with a
third-party radio.
Programming the CB300 Callbox
1. Verify your
Curve radios are using the default profile ID of 2691.
a. With the radio off, press and hold the push-to-talk button,
the plus button, and the power button until you hear the triple
tone.
b. Radio will announce it's in programming mode,
click the menu button , and verify it is in the
default state of 2691. If it isn't write down the profile ID for
your reference.
2. Set the radio aside, and remove the
plastic cover from the callbox. Press the
button and then
press the up button until you see radio channel on the screen.
3. Press the up or down button until the channel matches
the channel you are using on your CURVE radios.
4. Press
the button and the up or down
button until you see "Profile ID."
5. Set the Profile ID
using the up and down buttons to match your radios and press
enter.
Recording
Instructions:
1. With the plastic cover
off, Press then press enter.
2. Press the up or down
button until you see "Software Version" and press Enter.
3. Press the up button within 6 seconds.
4. Press up or
down until you see "Message Record." (This will not appear if
you don't perform the previous steps.)
5. Press
up or down until you see "Radio Message" and press Enter.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
6. Repeat Step 5 for Local Message
and Low Battery Message. .
