It's very imporant you replace the batteries in your radios as
they age. We recommend you replace the batteries in your
CURVE digital radios every 18 months. Changing the batteries
helps ensure your radios are functioning at their peak.
Older batteries will lose their charge faster and could cause
the radios to malfunction.
The CB300 callbox uses
standard D batteries. The batteries should last over the course
of a year with an average of ten presses per day. The CB300
callbox has a low battery warning that should transmit over the
radio to warn you batteries are low. As well, if your callbox
stops transmitting, try replacing the batteries in the callbox
before calling for support. Often, new batteries will resolve
the issue.
Date
Coding Your Batteries
The date code format for the CURVE battery is YYYYMMDD. If the
date code indicates the battery is older than 18 months, order
new batteries on the GNFR (part number 100690914).
